🔒 Your data is yours alone

Everything you share with Bob lives in an encrypted vault. Your passphrase is the only key — we don't store it and can't access your data, even if we wanted to.

When Bob is sleeping (after a rare server restart), your vault is locked. The data on disk is unreadable ciphertext. Nobody — not us, not anyone — can read it without your passphrase.

Your data is never shared, sold, or analysed by anyone. No analytics. No tracking. No advertising. Bob works for you and nobody else.

The code is open source — you can verify every claim.

📧 Connect Gmail — go to connect-gmail to link your email. Bob will automatically read your bills, receipts, and renewals.
💬 Say hello — Bob will introduce himself and explain what he can do
📎 Upload a bank statement — drag a CSV into the chat for instant transaction import
📄 Upload documents — insurance policies, contracts, invoices
🧠 Tell Bob things — "My car insurance is Aviva, £487/year, renews March 2027"

If you ever need to sign in again, use your email and the password you chose.

Your encryption passphrase is only needed after a server restart (rare) — you'll see a friendly "Bob is sleeping" page with a link to wake him up.
