Bob — Private AI + Collective Intelligence
Bob is a personal AI agent platform operated by Dragonfly Labs Ltd, trading as Algorythmics. Bob helps you manage finances, bills, subscriptions, documents, emails, calendars, and general life admin.

When you create an account, you provide a username, password, email address, and encryption passphrase. You are responsible for:
Your encryption passphrase is used to create and unlock your encrypted data vault. We do not store your passphrase. If you lose it, we cannot recover your data. This is by design — it ensures that only you can access your information.
Bob is designed for personal, household use. You agree to:
The Swarm is an optional collective intelligence network. If you opt in, your Bob extracts anonymised, bucketed traits from your data (e.g., "pays £100-200/month for energy") and shares them with the Swarm. In return, you receive collective insights.
Swarm participation is entirely optional and disabled by default. You can enable or disable it at any time via your account settings. No traits are emitted until you explicitly opt in.
Only anonymous, bucketed data — cost bands, tenure bands, provider names, and spending categories. The Swarm never receives your name, email, address, account numbers, exact amounts, transaction dates, or any other personally identifiable information. Your bot ID rotates monthly and cannot be linked across time periods.
Bob uses artificial intelligence (currently OpenAI gpt-5.4) to generate responses, summaries, and briefings. All AI-generated content is advisory only. It may contain:

The Bob platform, its code, design, and documentation are the property of Dragonfly Labs Ltd. The codebase is published as open source for transparency and auditability. Your personal data remains your property at all times.

By creating an account and providing your email address, you will receive a daily briefing email from bob@algorythmics.life. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each email, or by contacting us at support@algorythmics.life.
Bob is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. During early access, the service may be updated, modified, or temporarily unavailable without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@algorythmics.life or using the account deletion feature. Deletion triggers cryptographic erasure of your entire encrypted vault — database, documents, emails, memory, and Swarm traits. This is irreversible.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice where practicable. On termination, your encrypted vault is destroyed.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice on the service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Bob after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
